Lookbook - Minimalist.

I've really been enjoying looking through Zara's Spring Lookbook lately. It's given me a new style direction that I want to go in for the next season. The minimalist, clean, and simple lines of their clothes for me really bring out the idea of Spring.

Since most clothing from Zara are minimalist it makes it easy to pair and match other clothes you may have in your closet. I, myself actually prefer simple clothing and am so happy that the trend for the next season are basics.

There's just something about Minimalism that makes me like it so much, maybe it's because our life is often so complicated that sometimes we just need to tone it down in the way we dress in order to feel in control. So I suggest we all take a look at Zara's Spring Catalog for some inspiration. We always seem to go back to the basics because they're just classics.

Winter Essentials.

The HGs (holy grails) of winter, for me, has to include L.L. Bean Duck Boots ($109) and Hunter Rain Boots ($145).

Though they are not everyone's cup of tea, they are extremely practical and gets the job done. I personally have a pair of Navy Hunter Boots myself for a year now. They have lasted well through  last winter and still look & feel brand new.

As for the L.L. Bean boots I have not yet purchased a pair but am considering it.

Though they are a bit pricey it's a good investment, especially for those who live in colder climates with snow and rain during the winter.

P.S. For those who have smaller feet, try the kids sizes for the Hunter Boots. The kids sizes actually go up to women's size 7/8 and it's about half the price of womens.
